HP LaserJet 9000 Black and
Tri-color Cartridges Setup
- Firstly, take the HP LaserJet 9000 Setup printer out.
- Then, check if you have got the instruction guide, power cable, and black and colorcartridges.
- Remove the cover and the thermocol fittings from the printer.
- Furthermore, open the scanner lid and take the Styrofoam sheet and
then, close the scanning lid.
- Likewise, slowly open the printer top cover and remove the safety
cardboard plank.
- Remove the protection tapes from the paper tray and check if the tray looks ok.

- Unpack the power cord and connect the appropriate ends to the printer and the power socket.
- Then, press the power button of the HP LaserJet 9000.
- The printer initialization commences.
- Now, the notification to select your language preference pops up. Select your preferred language per your choice and then confirm your choice.
- Subsequently, also choose your country and then click confirm.
- Next in the date selection, select the date.
- Furthermore, choose the required options in the time settings.

Tri-color Cartridges Setup
- Open the top cover of the HP LaserJet 9000 Setup carefully.
- You would have got two cartridges along with your HP LaserJet 9000.
- A black cartridge and a tricolor cartridge.
- The tri-colors are Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow.
- Unpack the HP LaserJet 9000 black cartridge and do away the protective tapes.
- Not removing the protective tapes will result in mal-functioning of the cartridge.
- Ensure not to touch the contact and nozzles of the black cartridge.
- Place the black cartridge to the right side slot of the cartridge holder.
- Subsequently, do the same steps for the HP LaserJet 9000 tri-color cartridge and place it in the left side slot.
- Now, shut the top lid and click on OK in the control panel.
